What size do I need?
Measure from the floor to the top of the cushion your pet needs to reach. The top step should sit level with that surface or just below it — never above it.
2 Step — 11in high, 15.3in deep
3 Step — 15.3in high, 22in deep
Both are 15.3in wide.
These are made for couches, armchairs, low beds and window seats. The 3 Step reaches 15.3in, so if you're measuring a tall bed frame, check the height before you order — it may not be enough.
These are hand-measured, so allow around an inch either way.
Will it slide on hardwood or tile?
The base is non-slip, so it grips the floor instead of skating forward when your pet pushes off. That's the detail that matters most — a stair that shifts once teaches a nervous pet never to use it again.
Set it flush against the furniture so there's no gap to step over, and it reads as one continuous climb rather than two separate obstacles.
My pet has never used stairs. Will they actually use it?

My dog chews everything. Will it survive?
The cover uses an anti-bite fabric, which is tougher than the plush most foam stairs are wrapped in and holds up to a curious mouth better than you'd expect.
It isn't indestructible, and no foam product is. A determined chewer left alone with it will eventually win — so if that's your dog, keep an eye on the first few days.
How do I keep it clean?
The cover detaches completely and washes, so muddy paws and shedding season aren't a problem.
Underneath, the fabric is waterproof — an accident sits on the surface instead of soaking into the foam, which is the thing that usually ruins a pet stair for good. Wipe it down, wash the cover, let both dry fully before it goes back into use.
Wash cool and air dry rather than hot — foam covers shrink, and a shrunk cover won't go back on.
Which colour should I pick?

Beige and Light Grey disappear into most living rooms. Dark Gray hides wear and shedding best if your pet is a heavy moulter. Brown is the warmest against timber floors and tan furniture.
